Privacy Policy
What Blocksona collects, how your photos are handled (used once, deleted within 24 hours, never used for training) and how to see or delete your data.
By the Blocksona teamUpdated
The short version
- Your photo is used once, to generate the skin you asked for, and is deleted automatically within 24 hours.
- We store the finished 64×64 skin in your private library until you delete it.
- We never sell personal data and never use your photos to train models.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email address and sign-in method.
- Skins you create: the 64×64 PNG, the mode (photo, pet, image, Roblox, text, or edited in the skin editor), your text notes, the Roblox username you entered and the arm model.
- Credits and payments: credit balance, orders and subscription status. Card details are handled by the payment provider (for example Stripe); we never see full card numbers.
- Usage and device data: pages visited, generation counts, browser type and approximate location from your IP address, used to run and protect the service.
- Cookies: needed to keep you signed in and remember your language. Microsoft Clarity also sets cookies to measure how pages are used.
- How you use the site: we use Microsoft Clarity to see clicks, scrolling and anonymized session replays, so we can find what is confusing or broken. Clarity masks text you type into fields and does not see your photos or payment details. See Microsoft's privacy statement.
What happens to your photo
When you generate a skin from a photo, your browser shrinks the image and sends it over an encrypted connection to our server. The server places it in our storage (Cloudflare R2) under a long random link that is not listed anywhere, so that our AI image provider can fetch it for that single generation. Anyone holding that exact link could open the photo until it is deleted, so we never show or share it. A storage rule deletes these photos automatically within 24 hours, and the photo is never written to our database.
The generation runs through kie.ai, which passes the image to the underlying model (currently OpenAI GPT Image, with Google Gemini as a backup). These providers process it under their own terms for API customers; kie.ai deletes its copies of generated images after 14 days. We keep the model's raw texture (not your photo) for up to 30 days to check and improve skin quality, and the finished 64×64 skin until you delete it.
Roblox usernames and the free tools
If you enter a Roblox username, our server asks Roblox's public API for that player's public full-body avatar picture and uses it like an uploaded photo (same storage, same 24-hour deletion). We never ask for a Roblox password or sign in to Roblox. Blocksona is not affiliated with Roblox.
The pixel art maker runs entirely in your browser: the picture you choose is never uploaded. The skin editor also works in your browser; a skin is only sent to us when you press "Save to my skins", and then it is stored like any other skin in your library.
Creator challenge
If you enter the creator challenge, we store the video links you submit, their review status and the view counts we record, linked to your account. The public leaderboard shows only a made-up name (like Mossy-Lantern-482), the platform and view counts: never your name, email, account or the video link. To send a gift card we email the address on your account. The reveal video is made in your browser and is not uploaded to us.
How we use data
To generate and store your skins, run your account and credits, process payments, answer support tickets, prevent abuse (such as rate limits) and improve the product with aggregated statistics.
Children
Blocksona is used by many young players. Users under 13 (or the minimum age in their country) need a parent or guardian to create the account and to consent to photo uploads. Only upload photos of yourself, your pets, or people who agreed to it. A parent can ask us to delete a child's account and skins at any time.
Your choices
- Delete any skin from My skins; deleted skins are no longer accessible.
- Ask for a copy of your data or full account deletion through a support ticket.
- Change cookie preferences from the footer when the cookie banner is enabled.
Sharing
We share data only with providers that run the service (hosting, database, AI image generation, payments, email, usage analytics with Microsoft Clarity) and when the law requires it.
